Brigidine College is a highly respected Catholic independent secondary school for girls, located in the leafy western suburb of Indooroopilly in Brisbane, Queensland. The College was established in 1929 by the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Brigid and continues to be run in the Brigidine tradition.
The Principal is responsible to the Board for the religious, educational, administrative and community leadership of the College. The current Principal, Mrs Madeleine Sayer, has made the decision to step down after ten years of leadership. The College Board invites applications from experienced educators who will embody the College values of a strong and gentle person.
The new Principal will be an appropriately qualified and outstanding educator with a capacity for strategic thinking, proven skills in collaborative
leadership and commitment to the Catholic faith and Catholic education. Excellent communication skills are essential together with a love of young people and the energy, humour and warmth to inspire students, staff and parents.
