The Diocese of Broken Bay comprises 43 Schools (36 Catholic primary and 7 Catholic high schools), approximately 16,000 students and more than 1,300 staff. The Catholic Schools Office, Broken Bay, has recently completed an organisational review and seeks to further enhance the performance of an already highly performing school system. The Director of Schools has created this executive role to assist in providing strategic leadership to achieve mission, improve schools and build greater cohesion within the Diocesan Schools System and across related diocesan agencies.
As one of three positions reporting to the Director of Schools, this role leads established, professional teams with accountability for a broad portfolio of services in the areas of: finance; human resources; ICT; risk management; capital development; and knowledge management.
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
• Commitment to the mission of the Catholic Schools System;
• A career history developed in one or more of the functional areas of this position, ideally with senior leadership exposure to the varied aspects of a corporate services role;
• Capability of working within a service organisation and providing leadership at strategic and operational levels;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills;
• Post graduate qualifications.
