The Catholic Commission for Employment Relations (CCER) is a not for profit organisation which functions as an advisory agency to assist Catholic employers located within NSW & the ACT. CCER has a team of qualified legal and employment relations practitioners to provide a broad range of ER/IR services to the largest non-government employer group in the State covering a number of sectors including social welfare, health, aged care and education.
This position operates within a team structure that offers support to a portfolio of employers in the Education sector. The services provided are broad and include: advice on employment law; employment relations; human resources policy & practice and conditions of employment; negotiation of workplace agreements; training; grievance investigations and advocacy before tribunals.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
• Employment law, industrial relations, employment relations or human resources experience
• Proven skills in negotiating enterprise agreements and providing practical ER advice.
• Interpersonal skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team setting
• Commitment to personal and professional development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
